COMING SOON! Culture Media (cGMP) for Dendritic Cells
Monocyte-derived dendritic cells (Mo-DCs) have garnered much attention to develop effective strategies for therapeutic immunity against cancer. A recent study examined a new chemically defined & animal component free cultivation method to favorably support immunogenic applications of Mo-DC and highlights a potential role for lipids in programming the dendritic cells fate.
Results:
> Comparable yield of Mo-DCs
> Efficient differentiation, maturation, and maintanance of Mo-DC
Mo-DCs demonstrated an Th1 polarizing effect upon addition of several chemically-difined lipids (CDL)
These results exhibit a new CD, ACF cultivation method able to favorably support immunogenic applications of Mo-DC and highlights a potential role for lipids in programming DC fate.
